Within this episode I had the chance to speak with Chris Faranetta the Vice President & Co-Founder of NearStar Fusion a nuclear fusion energy company located in Chantilly, Virginia. Chris Faranetta has a great deal of knowledge and experience within the aerospace and clean tech industry most directly focused on commercializing deep technology, and for the last decade he has now been focused on the business development within plasma technology and nuclear fusion energy. Many of you may have seen the recent news related to fusion energy, it was officially announced Tuesday December 13th that Scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s National Ignition Facility made history by successfully producing a nuclear fusion reaction resulting in a net energy gain. This is a massive breakthrough within the fusion industry, and so we had to have a podcast to talk about it!
