Within this episode I had the chance to speak to a fellow Clarksburg High School Alumni Caroline Ta! Caroline is the owner and founder of Sweets by Caroline where she brings her customers delicious customizable gluten-free french macarons, cakes, and other desserts, all made from scratch. She offers simple and unique flavors that will leave your taste buds coming back for more. I am not a big desert person but I will most definitely be placing an order this week, and I recommend you do the same. Caroline is a Montgomery College & University of Maryland graduate where she earned degrees in Business, Supply Chain Management, & Marketing. During her time in college she won the 2021 Rudy Awards Student Entrepreneur of the Year, additionally she was a 2020 Ding Pitch Dingman Finalist & PPE Award recipient, and earned a spot as a finalist in the Raptor Tank, which is a spin off of the infamous Shark Tank! Caroline also has a large social media following across various platforms, she has worked on this business for over half a decade now and sees no signs of slowing down!
